Founding Engineer

First engineering hire

• ◆Sole engineer on a two-sided hiring marketplace: TypeScript, Next.js 15 and React 19 on PostgreSQL via Prisma, deployed to Vercel with Neon in the EU region. Pre-launch, with 18 companies onboarded.
• ◆Built the matching engine: hard eligibility gates that separate blocked from unknown, weighted scoring across experience, seniority, tooling and location, and trait-level fit on a controlled vocabulary.
• ◆Designed six separate scoring instruments (admission, match, scout triage, vetting, reputation, company) and LLM-backed CV and trait extraction with a heuristic fallback, behind a provider-agnostic model seam.
• ◆Shipped the candidate and company funnels as explicit state machines plus the operational ATS: pipeline board, interviews and tasks, dual-sided feedback, GDPR purge.
• ◆Hardened the platform: unified auth, atomic rate limiting and bot protection, a database-verified admin layer, Vitest and Playwright coverage, and consent, anti-discrimination and EU AI Act gating.

Co-Founder

• ◆Co-founded a consultancy delivering process automation, AI-assisted marketing and custom web apps to professional firms and niche businesses, across roughly 30 productised services.

Ad Tech Engineer (Contract)

• ◆Built 390 Google Ad Manager line items at $0.01 CPM granularity up to $3.00, with Prebid.js hb_pb targeting and creatives attached, via the GAM API and Prebid Line Item Manager.
• ◆Integrated the Magnite and OneTag SSPs in a single working day. Ad revenue roughly doubled over the first ten days live.
• ◆Retained for ongoing optimisation, daily performance monitoring and further SSP integrations.

• ◆Drafted and structured revenue-sharing agreements within public/private mineral-sector partnerships in Africa, supporting investment discussions in the mid to high eight figures (EUR).

• ◆Supported humanitarian and development projects in conflict-affected regions, and built relationships across government, private and local actors.
